Anthony Desmoni (deponent) "was driving his taxi ... when he was hailed by deft. [John Sanders, black] who got into the cab and directed him to drive to 222 W. 121 St and when deponent got there, Alfred Meyers [Sanders' accomplice, black] ordered deponent into the hallway of said premises where Henry Brown [Sanders' second accomplice, black] was standing, and Meyers held a revolver in his hand and pointed it at deponent ... Deponent ... gave the said money [$10] to Meyers and was allowed to depart with his taxi."
