Was driving a taxi cab along the street at 145th St near 8th Ave. Deft was a passenger in another taxicab. The driver of said other cab did ask deponent to call a police officer, stating to deponent that his passenger,deft, refused to pay a taxicab fare bill. Deponent and deft had a conversation relative to same and deft did strike deponent about the mouth with his fist. There was an altercation between deft and deponent and after said altercation deponent walked away from deft. Deft did then run toward deponent with a knife in his right hand, and did strike deponent with same about the face, near the left eye. As a result went to Harlem Hospital and was treated for a stab wound.
