11:30pm while in 19 East 115th St .. deponent’s daughter Viola Smith ran into deponent’s room for protection. That said deft. followed her and then and there cut deponent on the right breast and right arm with the blade of a knife deft, then and there held in his hand, inflicting incised wounds. That as a result deponent received medical and surgical treatment by an ambulance surgeon from the Harlem Hospital, necessitating the insertion of four stitches in the breast and one arm
