This defendant did feloniously beat and strike deponent with a certain flat iron bar which defendant held in his hand, about the head and face inflicting lacerations and abrasions of the scalp and face which necessitated the services of a surgeon from Kniceeroocker Hospital who sewed up the wound under the right eye with two stitches, Deponent further states that said assault was committed.
