The defendant [Winston], in concert with two other individuals in prison for other crimes [Richard Parker, James Carter], entered the apartment of the deponent under the pretense of being sent by a mutual friend, Ollie Washington. After engaging in some drinking, Carter pulled a revolver on the deponent and “ordered all the occupants of the apartment, 6 persons, against the wall... [and] demanded from deponent the diamond ring which she was wearing.” Carter then took $36 from the right stocking of the deponent. “While [he] held up the occupants of the apartment, the other two men went through the apartment, taking [a quantity of goods valued at approx. $160]. “Thereafter the defendant and the other two men compelled the women to get into bed, where they had intercourse with them.”
