Manuel Johnson found on street in possession of 10 slips of paper with numbers written on them. “at 7th Ave., & 137th St., City and Country aforesaid, defendant accepted a package from an unknown man and deponent took said package from defendant's possession and found to to contain 10 slips of paper bearing numbers and other records of bets on the probability of certain numbers written on said slips being published in the daily news papers and that defendant collected said papers to deliver them to a man who accepts said bets from all comers."
