The deponent, returning home to her apartment, was approached by the defendant and asked if she "wanted a servant today." When she replied "no," the defendant "grabbed hold of her about the face whereupon [an] unknown man came from a vacant apartment on the ground [floor] and placed his hands across her mouth ... whereupon[defendant] and said unknown man attempted to push her into the vacant apartment, during the struggle [the defendant] grabbed her purse." The deponent, managing to scream, attracted the attention of another resident of the building, who was able to apprehend the defendant until police arrived on the scene.
