The defendant [Abrams, a 23 year old Black man], in concert with another unknown man, "called deponent [Oshefsky] into the hallway" of his W 137th Street residence, where, after ushering him up to the 4th floor, he "took violent hold of deponent by the throat and then and there took .. eight dollars from the right hand pocket of deponent's trousers."
