While deponent was making his rounds as a watchman in 365 West St, where he is employed the deft did at 7:45pm strike him on the back of the head with a metal ‘masher’ inflicting a scalp laceration requiring stitching by surgeon of St Vincents, that while deponent detained deft for the police the deft did attempt to escape and did bite deponent on the inner left leg near the crotch and on the 2nd and third right fingers causing painful wounds
