At a meeting held under the auspices of the Women's League of Voters, a non partisan body, Attorney Myles A. Paige addressed those gathered. The Republican candidate from the Nineteenth district expressed his relief at getting away from racial issues in Harlem. Congressman Joseph Gavagan also addressed the crowd, the purpose of the host organisation (the Women's League of Voters) was explained to those present.
