While participating in a card game at premises 12 West 135th Street, the defendant [Harvey] and one Arthur Williams became engaged in an altercation, during which the two men left the apartment. Williams returned a short while later with stab wounds inflicted by the defendant, which caused his death in Harlem Hospital some nine hours later.
