"Services are conducted in a very dirty store. Pieces of card-board replace broken window spaces. Boxes are used for chairs. This is a typical make-shift type of institution known in Harlem as such that panders upon the emotions of a poor and illiterate type of person. Church may remain a week or a month but duration is limited."
