"A charge of homicide against Lawrence Wilson... accused of causing the death of Willis Coles... in an automobile accident, was dismissed Friday by Magistrate Michael Ford in Manhattan Homicide Court. According to police, Wilson's car ran over Coles as he walked across Eighth Avenue at 143rd Street on October 21, causing injuries which resulted in his death at Harlem Hospital."
