"A most enjoyable evening which included frolicking, chatting and imbibing delicious cooling beverages, was had by those who attended Whoopee Girls 'Bathing Beauties on Parade' dance at the comfortably cooled Elks Rendezvous last Saturday evening. Claude Barnes and his Ten Pennies served on the melody menu. The introduction of the Reginal Girls preceded the Bathing Beauty Parade which was won by the lovely Virginia Conners"
