The defendant [Jackson] “did … stab deponent [Jones] in the left side of the abdomen with the blade of a knife,” while in the West 115th Street building where the deponent resided and was employed as superintendent, “causing [him] to sustain injuries which required medical treatment at Harlem Hospital.”
