While driving his automobile up Lenox Ave, the deponent [Kitelson] stopped at a traffic light at West 136th Street, where he was approached by defendant Brown and asked if he wanted to go to a party. Upon accepting the invitation, the deponent accompanied Brown to the hallway of a West 146th Street building, where he was approached by defendant Ware and another unidentified man – the former of whom “stuck a revolver into the back of the deponent and ordered him... to the floor of said premises.” Once he was upstairs, Brown “disappeared,” leaving the other two men to rob him of a silver wrist watch, his wallet, and $14 in cash.
