After the defendants [Scott, West] approached his motor vehicle at the corner of West 110th Street and Amsterdam Avenue, and asked for a lift, the deponent [Carey] drove them to West 111th Street and Manhattan Avenue, where he “felt the hand of [defendant] Scott in [his] pocket.” The deponent subsequently discovered that $65 cash was missing from said pocket.
