"The Wampus Girls (organised late last year and thusly named for the young starlets of Hollywood), made a bow to the public Sunday afternoon with a cocktail party at the Opera Studio, 224 West 139th street. A goodly crowd turned out to greet the charming hostesses and to participate in the many diversions - dancing and bridge being the favourites."
