"The annual thanksgiving service, scheduled to be held Sunday, June 2, in Mother Zion Church at 3 p.m., will mark an epoch in the affairs of Prince Hall Masonry in this state in that these services will be held in conjunction with the Grand Commandery, Knights Templars... For the first time in several years it is now possible for the Masons to parade, and a street demonstration will preceed the sermon. The line of march will be from the Masonic Temple, 235 West 125th Street... to the church. The bands of Imperial Lodge No. 127 and Manhattan Lodge No. 45... will play for the march."
