Description: Several hundred Harlem youngsters began Summer School at numerous churches and parish houses in the community this week. Beulah Wesleyan Methodist Church, 221, W 136th St, opened its doors to students on Monday 1 July; classes will run for four weeks each day of the week from 9-12. Five teachers will be instructing the students, Miss Gladys Thorne, will be directing the teachers.
