"'Seventh Annual Night in Danceland' was the name of the affair sponsored by the Silver Leaf Circle last Friday night at the Checker Club. A nice crowd turned out and created a gay atmosphere which was evidenced throughout the evening. Doc Lee and his Rhythm Masters ably assisted in the merriment which scores for this event a very high rating."
