During a regular meeting of the Ramapo Democratic Club, a Democratic organisation in the Twenty-first district, the club unanimously adopted a resolution which praised Assemblyman William T. The Assemblyman attempted to force a vote on the child labour amendment in the Assembly the previous week, which the Ramapo club described as "splendid and courageous."
