"The Eastern Bridge League's individual championship, the league's first major event since the reorganization, starts May 27 at the Pretorian Club, 2667 Eighth Avenue. The event promises to draw the greatest conglomeration of scientific bridge players (of sundown hue) ever brought together on the American continent. Behind the championship are fourteen of the biggest and strongest tournament clubs in the metropolitan area."
