During this time, the deponent [Diaz] was “taken to and from said premises each day by one Louis Echavarria (also arrested and charged with the same crime),” where he procured her to “commit numerous acts of prostitution with numerous [Chinese men], for which defendant received $2... and would later pay deponent the sum of $1.”
