"Alone in her corner two window delicatessen store at 123rd St and Lenox Ave, she was trapped in a crossfire of missiles when the trouble started. Dodging a rain of broken glass, she managed to find sanctuary in her rear storeroom. "It broke my heart to abandon my store, but what could I do all alone?"Mrs Salefas said yesterday. "Every time I peeked out from in back a shower of bricks greeted me. They got away with about $100 of food and all my beautiful dishes I was saving for prizes!"
