"Mr and Mrs Edward S. Hill, 474 West 150th street, observed their eighth wedding anniversary on Tuesday night. The day was to be a quiet one, as far as Mrs Hill was concerned; but Mr Hill had other plans in mind. He arranged a theatre date with his wife and when they returned home there were many of the couples friends to greet them. The guests played cards, danced and chatted-and of course, there were many tasty edibles and refreshing cocktails"
