After waiting at the front steps of the deponent's West 137th Street residence, the defendant [Blake] followed her to the room she shared with her sister. There, he beat the deponent's sister, and when she asked him to stop, he "struck her with clenched fists and booted feet," before "twist[ing] her neck" and throwing her down a flight of stairs.
