"Two Thirty Seven in "The Block Beautiful" West 139th Street... was the scene of high-deho in style last Tuesday night, when Mesdames Mary Sweetwine and Bernia Austin had [an] impromptu open house for the Louis-Baer fight... The festivities centered around the unique recreation room on the lower level of the Austin residence, and took in the well-known indoor sports, dancing, bridge and gossiping, all highly seasoned by whatever your taste called for from the Austin bar."
