"M. Louetta Chatman, coloratura soprano, and Ruth Thompson, dramatic reader, were heard in joint recital at Grace Congregational Church on Sunday afternoon. The well-arranged program gave the soprano ample opportunity to show off her round, full voice. To this difficult program, which included works of Handel, Rubinstein, Bayly, Mozart, Massenet, Gounod, Fisher, Rhodes and Burleigh, she gave intelligent interpretation. Edward Margetson gave able support at the piano"
