"Playing with a vim and vigor that kept their rooters standing on their seats, a fighting team of nurses from the Lincoln School, 141st street and Southern boulevard, the Bronx, downed the Harlem Hospital aggregation in their annual basketball classic at the Renaissance Casino, last Friday night, by the score of 15-9. The outstanding feature of the game was the brilliant defensive playing of Callie Belle Woods, centre of the Lincoln team."
