While the deponent [Harms] was in his automobile waiting at a traffic light at the corner of West 132nd Street and St. Nicholas Avenue, the defendant [Williams] and three unknown men approached the car and pointed a gun at him, before entering the vehicle and forcing him to the rear. The defendant then attempted to start the motor, which had stalled, while one of the unknown men “held a large knife and threatened deponent.” Shortly thereafter, several police officers approached the vehicle, to which the four men fled into St. Nicholas Park.
