After leaving his automobile parked outside his West 139th Street residence, the deponent [Kleinkopf, a physician] returned to find a leather bag containing “medical instruments” had been stolen from therein. The defendants were later arrested by a police officer, at West 141st Street and Eighth Avenue, in possession of said property.
