While searching the defendant's [Tartaglione] East 119th Street apartment, the deponent [William Wittenburg] – a detective – found “15 Italian Lottery Policy slips, 31 collector's sheets with the names of collectors thereon and the amounts collected, one pay-off sheet with the names of collectors and amounts collected, one memo book containing the names of collectors and amounts collected and 21 Italian player sheets.”
