"The popular Istmica Club, of which Harri B. Hollis is president, is sparing no pains in its plans for its fall dance, "Fantasies of 1935," at the Renaissance Ballroom on Saturday November 2. On that occasion Machin's Recording Orchestra will augment the Vernon Andrade aggregation. Machin is the composer of "The Peanut Vendor," a song which enjoyed much popularity a few seasons ago."
