After entering the deponent’s cigar store with another man and asking for some cigars, the defendant [Mounts] said “this is a stick up,” and “with a revolver in his hand placed against deponent’s body, pushed [him] in back of the counter, and said to the other man to clean out the register.” The defendant then struck the deponent “a blow on the head with said revolver,” before making off with $37.
