While on the corner of West 128th Street and St. Nicholas Avenue, the deponent [Solomon] was accosted by defendant Cornish, who pointed a knife at him and said “this is a stick up, what pocket is your money in?” The deponent then started to run, whereupon he was struck down by defendant Cornish, who broke his shoulder in the process. He and defendant Watkins then “pick[ed] [deponent] up, [and] carried him to the sidewalk, where they searched the pockets of [his] clothes” - extracting a wallet containing $1.30 therefrom. A police officer apprehended the defendants soon after.
