"The claim of Henry Milton, 23, late of 2031 West 141st street, that he had never been unfaithful to the girl he had left 'back home in Aulander, N.C.,' during the year or so they had been apart, failed him as a defensive weapon in an argument with an unknown assailant in front of 207 West 140th street, it was revealed yesterday... The assailant, accusing Milton of familiarity with a young woman in West 140th street, in whom the assailant was deeply interested, whipped out a knife and inflicted a penetrating stab wound in the stomach of his supposed rival. Milton died this week at Harlem Hospital from septic poisioning. The stabbing took place on March 17."
