The defendants [Sweeney, Nash], in concert with three others not arrested, accosted the deponent [Thompson], who was in the company of two others, in the hallway of a building on West 129th Street. The men “seized hold of the deponent,” and defendant Nash said “This is a stick up, keep your mouth shut or we will kill you,” before the men searched his pockets and stole $9, along $2 from one of the other men [Weston] and a watch from the other [Carpenter]. The defendants then ran out of the building, pursued by the deponent, who caused their arrest at West 130th Street and Lenox Avenue.
