"When officers Flemming and Jarvington, attached to the sixth division, stretched their dragnet over premises at 2252 Seventh avenue on Wednesday afternoon, four persons found themselves in the clutches of the law, charged with having policy slips in their possession. Three of them pleaded guilty. George Brown... Frank Chase... Herbert Levy... pleaded guilty, while Pete McKee denied having any such things as policy slips in his possession at the time the officers invaded the premises"
