"Three young girls, one of whom is white, were taken from one of Father Divine's "kingdoms" at 144 W. 126th Street, Tuesday, by agents of the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children. Following the agents' trip through the "kingdom," charges of operating a boarding house without a license were placed against Father Divine and Faithful Mary."
