"Ill health caused Mrs. Ellnore Summers... to turn a .38-calibre pistol on herself Sunday in an attempt at suicide. Her husband, Thomas Summers... ran to her side when he heard the shot and found the pistol lying on the floor beside her. At Harlem Hospital her condition was reported as serious."
