While standing at the corner of West 133rd Street and Lenox Avenue, the deponent [Edwards] was approached by the defendant [Burns] , who“did cut and stab deponent once in the abdomen, causing him to sustain injuries which necessitated his removal to… Harlem Hospital, for a period of four weeks.”
