"Edward Boyd died early yesterday (Friday) morning in Harlem Hospital, where he had lingered since June 11, when he was accidentally shot by his friend Harvey Huntley, at 253 West 131st street, where both of them lived. Huntley told Detectives Webber and Brown that he was cleaning an "unloaded" .22 calibre rifle when it went off, the bullet penetrating Boyd's abdomen"
