"Featuring talent from the revues of the Saratoga, the Ubangi, the Cotton, the Yeah Man! and Small's Paradise clubs... the Ladies Auxiliary of the Edgecombe Sanitarium will present the "Doctors' Review of 1935" on Thursday, May 23, at the Renaissance Casino. From all indications this year's affair will be the most ambitious ever attempted by this body. It has also been learned, judging by advance sale of tickets... that it will be the best attended event of its nature of the season. The entertainment is for the benefit of the Edgecombe Sanitarium, which is the only medical institution of its kind that is staffed and owned in New York City by Negro physicians."
