"Declaring that rank discrimination was going on in the New York Post Office, Dr L. B. Capehart, executive chairman of the Citizens Democratic Club, at a meeting held Wednesday night scored Post Office Department officials both locally and nationally. The meeting was held at the club's regular headquarters 204 Lenox avenue. The executive chairman called attention to the replacement of a colored man as superintendent of the College Station recently and the appointment of a white man in his place... Dr Capehart too said there was reason to believe that the colored women clerks have been especially discriminated against"
