"One of the most delightful affairs of the Lentern season was the Mardi Gras ball given by the Debonair Social Club, whose president is Irving Northover, at the Lido Ballroom, 160 West 146th street, last Friday evening. In keeping with the carnival spirit, the hall was decorated with gay balloons and confetti. Ed Bonell's Society Orchestra furnished appropriate music for the dancing."
