The deponent [Woodward, aged 16] travelled to New York, from Huntington, W.V., “under the pretence that [the defendants, C. Yannicilli and L. Yannicilli] would procure a job for her.” After going to an unidentified West 121st Street address with the defendants, she was told by defendant C. Yannicillia to “fill a date” with an unknown man, who perpetrated an act of sexual intercourse with her for $1. “Deponent… reported the said incident to Laura Yannicilli, stated she wanted to go home and was crying, but was persuaded by said defendant to remain.” Between December 11 and December 19, the defendants “procured about 14 men,” who were brought to 26 West 120th Street, where they had sexual intercourse with the deponent. On December 19, the defendants procured a police officer [one Cornelius Calaghan] to have sexual intercourse with the deponent – resulting in the arrest.
