"Smart styles for Milady's summer wardrobe were the fashion when the popular Bugs Club... gave its third annual organdy dress dance at the Renaissance Ballroom, 138th street and Seventh avenue, last Wednesday night... A huge black and red bug, suspended from the ceiling, was the group's novel and significant decoration. To distinguish themselves from their guests, half the Bugs wore black organdy frocks and the other half wore red. Their coronets were tiny red rosebuds. Vernon Andrade's Society Orchestra furnished haunting tunes for the dancing"
