"A reception and dinner in honor of M. Henri Pierre Jacmel, Haitian Under-Secretary o the Interior, was given by Mrs. Bertha Cotton... M. Jacmel, a direct lineal descendant of Gen. Jean Boncour, whose army defeated the French General La Clerc at Cap Hatien, gave an interesting talk on the beauties and opportunities offered by his country.
