"Police are seeking a 14 year old boy, said to be a drug addict, who escaped from the Fifth Avenue Hospital on November 12, it was disclosed last week... The boy, Calvin Cole, who was arrested with 5 [others] at 116 West 119th Street on November 7... is said to have told police that he used narcotics and that on several occasions the others had also done so in presence. Charged with juvenile delinquency, he was turned over to the Children's Society but five days later, when he was sent to the Fifth Avenue Hospital for treatment, he escaped while waiting for an examination."
